The Colorado Rapids have announced a three year-extension with their jersey sponsor Transamerica, with the new deal running through 2019. The start of this season marked the last year of the original two-year deal.
The deal was extended based upon the initial success of the partnership’s inaugural season in 2015. With a pair of major signings coming later this season – in U.S. Men’s National Team veterans Jermaine Jones and Tim Howard – it’s the perfect time to continue the sponsorship while the Rapids look to raise their profile.
