2019’s ‘Summertime-Chi’ is over and fall has officially hit. The temperature has begun to settle in the mid-to-low 60’s and beanies have become acceptable (somewhat) to wear again to the office.
The Premier League, though, isn’t ready to commit to cardigans and the changing of the seasons. At the end of October, England’s top flight will be co-hosting another PL Mornings Live fan fest with NBC – this time in Austin, TX. The weather will be warm with the breakfast tacos aplenty.

For the third year running NBC’s team, led by Rebecca Lowe, will be creating a College Gameday-esque viewing experience. Thousands of fans will be heading to Scholz Garten in downtown Austin to watch all the Saturday and Sunday fixtures alongside a live broadcast from the space. The venue will be the focal point of the festivities with the bar and its back courtyard and surrounding area to the north of the venue all blocked off for the event. The event space will be packed with activations, food and drink, Premier League legends, and free merchandise.
Premier League Interim Chief Executive, Richard Masters, said, “After a successful season of Premier League Mornings Live, we are delighted to be visiting Austin, Texas for the first event of the 2019-20 season. Last year we saw how passionate our American fans are, as we brought the Premier League experience to [them].”
The fifth-ever event in the series marks the first time it has left the East Coast, as Washington D.C., Boston, and New York (twice) have previously hosted. Boston set the bar high in March with nearly 13,000 fans in attendance over the two days, which Austin will look to top.
