According to a survey of over 1,000 Americans, 59 percent believe the U.S. Men’s National Team should boycott the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The controversy surrounding human rights abuses in Qatar has been omnipresent since the tournament was first awarded to the Persian Gulf country. In addition to a majority of Americans wanting a boycott, 60 percent want the FIFA World Cup removed from the Qatar and hosted elsewhere.
