The Badge Of Atlanta

Sometimes you have to burn something down to build something new. We still don’t know if the Silverbacks will be able to keep up with their MLS neighbors or if they will find greener pastures elsewhere. What we do know is that now Atlanta United FC has a club badge.

The A isn’t made of scarlet but it will sit on every player’s chest and is the centerpiece of the club’s badge. It is encapsulated by a gold ring that the club stated represents the city’s sporting legacy by hosting the 1996 Olympics. The color black represents power, red represents pride and passion, and lastly gold shows off their commitment to excellence.
