Brands Line up for Telemundo’s ‘Summer of Soccer’

We find ourselves in the midst of Telemundo’s Summer of Soccer, highlighted by the Spanish-language network’s broadcasting of the FIFA Women’s World Cup and Copa America. Since June 7th, Telemundo’s team of on-air and digital talent have been chipping away at the planned 750 hours of live sports programming and over 800 short-form content pieces. With all the airtime and opportunity for branded content, sponsors have been lining up to add their voice and their brand to soccer’s big stage. From special on-air segments to brand-themed pre-game shows, keep an eye on these brands as the action continues on Telemundo.

Boost Mobile

In an effort to encourage fans to switch phone carriers, Boost is presenting a special segment during games – Hoy en la Copa America – that will highlight the moment that “switched” the entire game— the biggest play of the game.


Coca-Cola is honoring the Player of the Game after every Copa America game.


Comcast has a themed segment during the pre-game show of every Copa America game. Telemundo hosts will show off Comcast features, including its new voice remote.


DishLatino will have in-game placements that will pop up with animated marquees and dynamic SuperSpots. In addition to this, Telemundo’s late night show Titulares Y Mas will feature a special segment dedicated to DishLatino.

L’Oreal Paris

L’Oreal is working with #SeeHer initiative to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of the women participating in this summer’s action by creating #SeeHer branded segments.


Mazda has created a custom series with Telemundo Deportes that follows sports anchor Anay Jurka, Mexican soccer player Janelly Farias, and soccer analyst Viviana Vila on their career journeys.

NBC Sports

In partnership with Telemundo Deportes and Vagisil, NBC Sports created a new video series called Off the Pitch, which gives fans a behind the scenes look at the U.S. Women’s National Team.


Verizon is the presenting sponsor of the Telemundo Deportes halftime show. They also have an in-game presence highlighting the top five moments in both Copa America and the FIFA Women’s World Cup.


Volkswagen is the halftime presenting sponsor on Telemundo Deportes’ FIFA Women’s World Cup coverage on linear and digital platforms.
