With the European domestic season wrapping up in May, June saw us turn attention to a variety of different leagues and tournaments including MLS, the Confederations Cup, UEFA U-21 Championship, World Cup Qualifiers and the Champions League Final.
While there were fewer matches on television in June compared to previous months, there was still only a single day that saw no televised soccer on U.S. television. Another interesting note is the even split between matches shown in English and Spanish. Unsurprisingly, the Mexico vs. USA World Cup Qualifier was the most-watched match of the month, more than doubling the Real Madrid vs. Juventus Champions League Final and Germany versus Chile Confederations Cup Final.
Next up: CONCACAF Gold Cup, MLS, and International Champions Cup in July.
