For the second time this year, GESM traveled as a team to support the Premier League and NBC for PL Mornings Live. This event acts as a live broadcast for NBC’s team as well as playing host to the best Premier League watch party in the U.S. If you need a refresher of what PL Mornings Live entails, take a look back at our time in D.C. for 2018’s first iteration of the event!
New York City, as it usually is, was a whirlwind. This time, the whirlwind had a certain soccer flavor to it. This whirlwind sent our content team all over the tri-state area to capture and portray what makes supporting the Premier League in New York so unique and so very special.
New York Rangers
On Thursday, we brought Premier League legend Alan Shearer to check out the training facility of the New York Rangers in Tarrytown, New York. Among his activities with the Blueshirts, Alan played a game of keepy-uppies with the team and even got to take the Zamboni for a spin – what a driver he is!

Step right up and greet the Mets!
Our team of Premier League mascots did just that. Lead by Mr. Met, our mascots traveled to Queens to check out all that Citi Field had to offer. Whether that was taking the 7 train right to Citi Field, getting a photo in front of the original Mets Home Run apple or playing some ball in the dugout, the mascots had an afternoon that they won’t soon forget!

Alex McWatt, Premier League Tattoo Master
Alex McWatt is one of New York City’s leading tattoo artists, he also happens to be a huge Arsenal supporter. We spent a day at his studio in Brooklyn to hear not only about his Arsenal fandom, and how the crossroads of Premier League soccer and tattoos make for a picturesque dream for him. For an added bonus, we talked to Alex about his PL fandom all while he tattooed a PL image on an Arsenal fan. This was a piece that we won’t soon forget.
