As I write this in early August, the MLS regular season about two-thirds of the way through. International summer friendlies played on U.S. soil, including the International Champions Cup are over and fans are gearing up for the final push to MLS Cup.
While players, coaches, and fans are still thinking about the current season, the front office and sales staff have one eye on the next. They have to drive season ticket sales ahead of the upcoming season, even if there’s a lot of current season left to play.
