On Friday, fans at the LA Galaxy game were some of the very first to test the highly anticipated Idol 4S and virtual reality headset, a new bundled product that was pre-launched by Alcatel on game day.
Each fan that stepped up to try the new devices launched into a special experience in which they virtually “followed” a player into the Galaxy locker room, through the player tunnel and onto the pitch for an up close and personal view.
For the first 15,000 fans entering the stadium, they received emoji player “fans” with artwork created by the Futbol Artist Network as part of the LA Galaxy emojis exclusively given out on game days. Fans were instructed to take a photo with their favorite emoji player fan, socialize with #LA4TheWin, and were entered into a sweepstakes for a chance to win 2017 season tickets courtesy of Alcatel.
