It was a major shock throughout the soccer world when back in February Turner Sports won the media rights to the UEFA Champions League starting with the 2018-19 season. Now, as we’re approaching the final season of the competition on FOX Sports, Turner is starting to announce some details about how they plan to handle coverage.
While television details, including specific channels and team members, have yet to be announced, Turner has announced a direct-to-consumer streaming service to fans for both Champions League and Europa League matches. There’s still no name for the streaming service or an announced price.
We’re definitely paying close attention to all announcements about Turner and their Champions League coverage as it continues to be unveiled throughout this season.
