2017 Digital Soccer Fan Report

Another year is in the books and soccer’s imprint on America continues to grow and strengthen. From Copa America Centenario to MLS to the Premier League, fans both new and old are watching, supporting, following, and engaging in soccer at an increasing level.

Last year we dove into an overall assessment of what soccer fans in America look like – who they support, how they see themselves as fans, their viewing habits, etc. As soccer fans continue to evolve, our report helped establish a baseline from which marketers can shape their own targeting and segmentation plans.

We too have evolved and are happy to share the new iteration of our report – an exclusive dive into the digital behaviors and consumption of soccer fans.

Our 2017 Digital Soccer Fan study is comprised of 1,000 soccer consumer interviews nationwide. Respondents with a minimum age of 13 completed an online questionnaire conducted during a one-week period in October 2016. We hope you enjoy!
