Youth Soccer Marketing

84% of youth soccer parents attend most / all of their kids practices and games, making youth soccer an ideal environment to reach the family unit. But many agencies see soccer’s grassroots as a tedious and confusing environment. For us, it’s a home away from home, and represents a powerful environment for many of our clients to engage directly with youth soccer players and their parents:

  • Youth soccer marketing plan development
  • Event & club identification and negotiation
  • Experience development
  • Design & fabrication
  • Staff hiring & training
  • On-site execution
  • Data capture
  • Measurement and reporting

Volkswagen hosts its annual Jr. Masters youth soccer tournament, with local competitions on every continent. In 2014, we were hired to develop, staff and host vehicle display experiences for guests at each US tournament stop, while supporting a branded match experience for U-13 boys teams from around the nation.

Ahead of FOX Soccer’s 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup coverage, we developed a grassroots promotional program targeting soccer families at multiple U.S. Youth Soccer regional tournaments. Onsite ambassadors hosted bottled water stations, giving visitors a chance to grab a cold drink, check out upcoming broadcast schedules and enter for a chance to win signed memorabilia from U.S. Soccer superstars.

Distributing two million promotional albums, and loads of stickers, into the hands of youth soccer players around the country prior to a World Cup is no simple task. Panini knew we were the right partner for the job and turned to us in 2010 and 2014 to help execute this critical element of their overall World Cup marketing plan.

We hosted the 2015 Bimbo “Champions Cup” at scenic PPL Park, bringing top U12 boys and girls teams from across our five regional Bimbo Cups to play against the U12 winners from Bimbo’s renowned Futbolito tournament in Mexico. See what they had to say on Philly’s FOX 29.

FOX Soccer hired us to surprise-and-delight thousands of youth soccer coaches at the 2013 National Soccer Coaches Association of America convention, thanking them for all they do to grow the next generation of players. Activities included complimentary morning coffee, on-the-spot fitness contests, Premier League viewing parties, secret-spotter giveaways and more.

Yingli Solar asked us to engage youth soccer parents at a series of tournaments throughout Northern and Southern California. Our team mapped a cross-state campaign tour, hired and trained skilled ambassador staff, brought in a local solar installation partner and set out to inform homeowners on the benefits of becoming a renewable energy household.
