SNHU Helps KickStart MLS All Star Festivities

As the best players in MLS gathered in San Jose, CA to take on the talented Arsenal squad. Our friends at Southern New Hampshire University were helping the Bay Area Kickstart the US Soccer Foundations, Soccer for Success Program. Throughout the week leading up the All Star game SNHU held events across the San Jose area inviting soccer fans to juggle a ball as many times as they could. For each fan juggle SNHU donated $1 for Soccer for Success, with a goal of 20,000 juggles and a total donation of $20,000.

Soccer for Success is a free after-school program that is much more than a way for kids to hang out after class. The program is proven to help kids establish healthy habits and develop critical life skills. Caring coach-mentors and family engagement are key components of Soccer for Success.

The Kickstart All Star activities were a booming success and the 20,000 juggle goal was reached on Thursday afternoon just before kickoff of the All Star game. SNHU is excited to be donating $20,000 to Soccer for Success in the Bay Area and anxious to take the program to their next MLS partner markets.

Kickstart will be visiting the NY Red Bulls and the greater NY area from August 13th-28th, the LA Galaxy from September 11th-25th and finally wrapping up the program with FC Dallas from October 1st-16th.
