Paris Loves US

It’s that time of year again when some of the best clubs in the world journey to the states to participate in one of the biggest North American tournaments of the Summer, the International Champions Cup (ICC).

And, like in 2015, it’s the time of year where we hit the road on behalf of French favorite Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) supporting their onsite activations throughout ICC.

PSG starts off at the top of the ICC bracket tackling Inter Milan yesterday with a 3-1 win from Auzten Stadium at the University of Oregon. Their next two matches might not be as easy as they prepare to face powerhouse and reigning Champions League Winners Real Madrid and Premier League champions, Leicester City. Two pre-season friendlies that are sure to get fans excited!

If you’re unfamiliar with the French football club, they have quite a few titles of their own. Back to back years, 2015 and 2016, they won the French Super Cup, French Champion Hexagoal, League Cup and French Cup. All four of these trophies have made their way to the states and will be on display at PSG’s next two matches in Ohio (OSU stadium) & Carson, CA (StubHub Center).

While on tour in North America PSG is continuing to build their U.S. fan base by inviting fans to support the blue, white and red club. In 2015 Paris Saint-Germain launched a new campaign for the tour, “Paris Loves US” signifying how dedicated their organization is in extending their fandom which continues to be part of their message entering the 2016 Summer tour. This past June the club launched a new U.S. fan loyalty program ‘My Paris Saint-Germain’, that allows fans to connect with the team from a far. The program gives members access to “Money can’t buy experiences”, player photos, priority access to tickets, online team store discounts, access to PSG TV and much more.

It’s a great week for soccer in the U.S.- make sure to tune into the ICC and catch some of these amazing match-ups!
